We have done a major renovation within the last year. Right back to the bones. With so many decisions to make – like a new build really.
We were fortunate to get Jo recommended to us as an Interior Designer.
As we approached having to choose paint colours for the painters, and carpet, all on a time frame of course. Then the curtains – and this all had to blend in!! It was all getting a bit much.
Jo took all the pressure away, and calmly advised, and suggested, what colours would blend in. She brought the project together. As she explained, a subtle colour change can make all the difference to the overall result. Without being pushy. It was ultimately, still my decision.
Builders and painters were a bit skeptical, about getting an Interior Designer. They said, be careful!! Once completed, the painter actually commented on how great the colour looked. Jo just mucked in. She was happy wandering around the building site in the dirt and the dust, and pulling everything together.
Now we are living in the house, we are so pleased with all the decisions we made. I am still planning on meeting up with Jo again, for the finishing touches. New lounge suite, dining room suite, etc. She talks about a “Mood Board”, which she prepares with sourced products and pricing.
